Abstract

Climate change is a natural phenomenon faced by the world. Based on the reading of the literature on previous studies, Malaysia is also one of the countries experiencing the impacts of climate change. The effects of climate change have negative implications for ecosystems and community groups, especially traditional fishing communities. Climate change is seen as a threat to fishing activities, fishermen's lives and the treasures of fishermen's knowledge. Thus, this study aims to discuss the level of knowledge of traditional fishermen on climate change and the impact of climate change on the traditional fishing community in Marang, Terengganu. This study used the method of analysis literature review from previous studies. Furthermore, it is hoped that this study is able to inspire and benefit all parties.
