Abstract

Classroom assessment (PBD) is an ongoing assessment in teaching and learning (PdP) sessions to obtain information on the development, progress, abilities and achievement of students as well as provide feedback related to teacher teaching. However, there are some challenges faced in its implementation. Among the challenges faced is the full implementation online which is the practice of the new norm when the Covid-19 pandemic hit the whole world, especially in Malaysia. To address this challenge, it is proposed that the ministry allocate financial resources according to the needs of the school and intensify focused training related to the implementation of online PBD through the use of various platforms currently available. This focused training aims to give skills and confidence to teachers so that PBD can be implemented online when PdP is implemented during the period of movement control order (PKP) due to the Covid-19 pandemic that hit Malaysia. Therefore, this study was implemented to identify the level of feasibility of PBD online during the period PKP was implemented in Sentul district, Kuala Lumpur. This study evaluates five aspects of feasibility, namely fulfilling the aspirations of the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE), viable, feasible, practical and sustainable. The study was conducted quantitatively with a survey method involving 30 secondary school teachers in Sentul district, Kuala Lumpur as respondents to the questionnaire instrument. The results of the study found that the overall mean score of feasibility is at a high level. This shows that PBD can be implemented online as long as PKP is enforced in Malaysia.
