Abstract

A superior leader is a leader who is exemplified by all walks of life to get maximum results for something they want to achieve. Education is a very important thing because it is the beginning of a person in life either in a better direction or vice versa. In order to produce skilled students it is very necessary for a school regardless of whether the primary or secondary school is run or managed by a superior leader who can be an example to students to continue to be more successful which ultimately serves themselves, their families and the country. Therefore, it is very important for a leader, especially educators in primary and secondary schools to have superior characteristics as a Principal and Headmaster .These two positions are the highest positions in the education and make an example to teachers and students.Cluster schools and Smart schools are chosen by the government because they recorded a high percentage in the education and they are under administration of the Principal Headmaster who has superior characteristics. The characteristics of this excellent Principal Principal is very important because it is able to produce teachers and students excellent, distinguished and disciplined to produce and dignify the world of education in this new millennium. This concept paper will explain about the superior characteristics that the Principal must have in order to create a world of education in Malaysia by 2020 comparable to other developed countries.
