Kontribusi Konseling Karier Berbasis Budaya Lokal pada Praksis Pendidikan Karakter Siswa Menuju Generasi Emas Indonesia

Abstract

Golden generation is a dream to be realized through a quality education for every child of the nation of Indonesia. This paper describes the concept of the establishment and development of Indonesian nation character through career counseling service based on local culture which makes independent learners towards the golden generation of 100 years of Indonesian independence. Study begins with peeling the form of a golden generation of cadres of Indonesia of the future, on the character of the Indonesian nation to be realized, the praxis of character education as an integrated part of the implementation of informal education that takes place in the family, formal education that takes place in schools and non-formal education takes place in the community as a component of the national education system, and the contribution of career counseling based on the local culture on implementation of the character education toward the golden generation of Indonesia, which ended with conclusions and recommendations.
